About Kristen Stritter, ERYY200/RYT500

Kristen began her journey in yoga about 20 years ago when she took an elective class for college called “Stress Management” which happen to be a basic yoga class. It was that class that planted the yoga seed in Kristen’s heart. After being a long time practitioner, Kristen was inspired to become a Certified Yoga instructor in 2011-2012 under her long time mentor, Denise Kay.
Kristen has continued to study different elements of yoga at the Himalayan Institute, where she recently completed her Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist Certification in 2016. Over the years, Kristen’s instruction has been influence by many instructors – Diane Speer, Melissa Nifenecker, the many awesome instructors at the Himalayan Institute/Yoga International, Rachael Goolsby, Rachel Taylor, Christina Joy, Lexi Hawks, Britt Roy as well as the various students that spark creativity to her classes. Kristen has worked with the MS Society of NJ on a research grant incorporating yoga into their health programing. In addition, Kristen co-created the Vibrant Life Cleanse, a Holistic Based Cleanse with Ayurvedic elements. Kristen is currently enrolled in an Advanced Yoga Teacher Training to be completed in 2018. Currently, Kristen instructs Vinyasa classes, Multi-Level Hatha Yoga classes, Restorative, Yin Yoga, Alignment-based Yoga, Pilates and Core Yoga Fusion classes.
Kristen is in aw by the fact that Yoga teaches her something everyday, whether it is about herself, her purpose, or the clients that take her classes. Yoga ignites her passion to help and inspire others. Yoga unites the physical aspects of life to the spiritual through the vital life force – breath. And it is that connection that keeps inspiring Kristen.

About Nick Schramm, RYT200

Nick completed his Kunga yoga teacher training at Wilmington Yoga Center with Jess Bichler and Kristin Cooper-Gulak in December of 2018. Nick stumbled upon yoga in 2014 completely by accident. After being basically dragged to his first class he left with a feeling he couldn’t quite describe but knew he wanted to pursue. For him, it was a significant turning point in his life. He attributes many amazing transformations in his life to this discovery of yoga and has a strong desire to share that opportunity with others along with a few laughs and good music. Nick is also a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant and incorporates his knowledge of human anatomy into his yoga teaching with a strong focus on body alignment. Nick loves strength training but believes the mind and soul are just as important as the physical body and strives to make that a large part of his teaching. Nick developed his practice under teachers such as JJ Cook, Tim Worman, Heather Metzler, and Holler Brown. Nick is particularly drawn to inversions, arm balances, power yoga, and acroyoga, and is a co-creator of FlyLM, a local acroyoga group.
