About Wilmington Yoga

Welcome – you belong here.

The Wilmington Yoga Center is a true community “center” of yoga — open to people of all ages, shapes, sizes, and abilities that wish to deepen their understanding of yoga and healthy lifestyle practices.

We go to great lengths to create a friendly, non-intimidating environment for anyone that loves to practice or is curious about the amazing benefits — we love newcomers!

Welcoming

Our studios are designed to feel open, calm, and easy to settle into. With spacious practice rooms, a state-of-the-art hot yoga studio, showers, and environmentally thoughtful design, Wilmington Yoga Center offers a comfortable place to arrive, move, and reset –  all in a peaceful, convenient location. Whether you’re brand new to yoga or returning to the mat, you’ll find a supportive community and skilled teachers ready to meet you where you are.

Local

We’re deeply rooted in our local community and love sharing the beauty of where we live. During the warmer months, we take yoga outdoors – onto the sand, the pier, and the water – with the support of our local partners, including Wrightsville SUP and Kayak Carolina. These seasonal offerings let students experience yoga in our stunning natural surroundings and celebrate the vibrant place we call home.

Service-Oriented

We believe yoga is a resource, not a luxury. Thanks to the generosity of our members and long-time students, we support our community through volunteer outreach, donation drives, free or reduced-cost offerings, and shared events — helping make yoga accessible to those who need it most.

This includes our weekly Free Cancer Conscious Yoga classes and Donation-Based Y12SR classes, as well as weekly Pay-What-You-Can class offerings.

Through these efforts and our partnerships with local organizations such as NourishNC, Domestic Violence Shelter and Services, Eden Village NC, A Safe Place, paws4people, Plastic Ocean Project, ACCESS of Wilmington, and Yoga Village, we strengthen the people and causes around us and look forward to continuing these collaborations.
