Danielle began her yoga practice in 2014 seeking relief from chronic knee pain. She soon discovered the practice has so much more to offer. She completed her 200-hour teacher training at Wilmington Yoga Center with Jamie Annette and Heather Metzler and completed her 300-hour advanced teacher training in Yoga Therapeutics. With a special interest in serving trauma survivors, Danielle sought an additional 300 hours of advanced teacher training through the Center for Trauma and Embodiment under the direction of Jenn Turner and David Emerson, and became certified in Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga. She has been facilitating trauma-informed yoga since 2019.
Danielle has a degree in Psychology and earned her masters degree in Health Science from the University of Maryland Baltimore. She is passionate about holistic health and became a certified Yoga Therapist through the International Association of Yoga Therapists in 2024. Danielle works in the community facilitating specialized therapy programs and has extensive experience with chronic pain, PTSD/Complex-PTSD, addiction, and neurological disorders. Danielle also enjoys sharing her knowledge through continuing education workshops for yoga teachers and she developed her own 200 hour yoga teacher training accredited by Yoga Alliance, offered at Wilmington Yoga Center.
