Jamie took her first yoga class with her mom in 2001 and has been practicing ever since.  She especially loved how the practice quieted her mind and allowed her to be more connected to her body. She wanted to deepen her knowledge of yoga so in 2010 she completed her 200 hour yoga certification at Wilmington Yoga and began teaching immediately. She continued her yoga education and in 2015 she completed her 500 hour yoga certification.
Jamie has taught many different styles of yoga including Vinyasa Flow, Hot Slow Flow, Core Power, Gentle + Meditation, and Restorative. She offers options for all levels of practitioners in all of her classes and truly believes that yoga is for everybody.
In addition to teaching classes, Jamie also enjoys leading yoga teacher trainings, workshops and yoga retreats. She has been coleading Mindfulness and the Eightfold Path 200hr teacher training with Frances Murchison since 2018. She also created a workshop called Yoga for Aging and Injury, which can be taken simply to have an understanding of yoga modifications or to receive CEUs for further education. Jamie has always had an interest in health of both body and mind and feels fortunate to share this with others through teaching.
